Hyperloop Desert Campus, located in Nevada.

The infinite arid plain of Nevada, interrupted by great geographic features, the kind of which the history of life on earth is read in its sediment lines, inspires the formal solution of the Hyperloop Center. Destined to add a layer of innovation that will undoubtedly mark a paradigm shift in the new era of transportation.

The architecture reflects the fundamental values by which one must look towards a sustainable future, the undulating and uneven roof with a change of scale achieves a tune with the plain masked by the fascinating massifs of the desert, in a discourse mimetic with the context.

The need for a vacuum in the operation of the Hyperloop is translated into as a large interior space in which the different functions of the center are developed, and marks a distinctive relationship between positive and negative space, between full and empty.

The corrugated and hollowed roof, filters the light that enters to the interior space through transparent solar panels, which contributes greater ecological efficiency to the installation. The lateral closures of the building designed in the shape of cones of 9 meters long cool the air that passes through them. Inside, a wooded area of 25 thousand square meters is generated, with different species of vegetation, between palm trees, fruit trees such as papaya, fig or more local species such as acacia or agave.
